Job Description

An AI Solutions Engineer in sales supports the sales team by using AI to understand customer needs, automate technical tasks, and present solutions. Key responsibilities include acting as a technical expert for clients, creating customized AI-driven solutions, and collaborating with sales and product teams to achieve revenue targets and drive product strategy. They bridge the gap between a company's technical offerings and customer requirements by providing expert guidance and ensuring technical solutions align with business goals.

Objectives of this Role

Technical expert: Provide deep technical knowledge to prospective clients, explaining the capabilities of AI products and answering complex questions during the sales process.


Solution design: Understand customer needs and design customized AI-driven solutions. This includes creating demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and custom software to meet specific client challenges.


Sales support: Work alongside sales representatives to achieve sales goals, which may involve helping to generate leads and develop sales strategies. 


Marketing support:  Work alongside marketing team to help with events, craft content for website, emails, collateral, speaking arrangements, AI directories, etc.


Automation: Leverage AI to automate repetitive tasks like lead sourcing, creating proposals, responding to RFPs, and generating reports, freeing up time for more strategic activities.


Client engagement: Build trust and credibility with clients by providing technical support, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining relationships during and after the sales cycle.


Product collaboration: Provide feedback to product management and engineering teams based on customer interactions and market needs, helping to inform the future AI product roadmap.


Strategic guidance: Advise customers and partners on strategic discussions that emphasize the value of AI solutions in addressing business outcomes.

Skills and Qualifications

  3. Experience in selling in any industry including door-to-door sales or having experience with growing an association, social media is a major plus!

Salary and Expectations: 

  1. You will be able to show how you perform in this role the first 3 months.  During this time, there is will a ton of training but no pay.
